Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (º£½ÇÂÛ̳PDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all º£½ÇÂÛ̳ departments. The purpose of the º£½ÇÂÛ̳PDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the º£½ÇÂÛ̳ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of º£½ÇÂÛ̳

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the º£½ÇÂÛ̳ community

To provide liaison between º£½ÇÂÛ̳ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The º£½ÇÂÛ̳PDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the º£½ÇÂÛ̳PDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
